There are changes in the children's literature section of the library! We are knocking down walls, adding shelves and creating a space for you to explore the many treasures in the collection.
As the reality of the Children's literature Collection emerges, I must admit to a being a little wadgetty! Those of you who are fans of the book Hitty: Her First Hundred Years by Rachel Field (or if you are from Nantucket) will know this wonderful word from the first page of the book. What it really means is fidgety and a bit nervous. This is not necessarily a bad thing but actually can be the result of someone who is looking around and poking and exploring - something that I hope all the users of this wonderful collection do regularly!
